An extremely polished and flavourful style on show here, with a mineral, stony,
elegantly floral nose offering tinges of passionfruit and grapefruit. The palate is appealingly ripe

and a long flinty finish.

It’s quite a dark and brooding looking glass of wine with hints of bruise purple around the edges.
Anise and pepper on the nose, the palate is full of bright raspberry fruits to the fore then
balanced by black pepper and bitter chocolate.

Kaiken Classico Malbec – Argentina 2018
A really pure expression of Malbec, deep red almost purple in colour and wonderfully aromatic

Latin and velveteen.

Les Volets Pinot Noir – France 2019
Bright red berry fruit on an attractive nose, cherry and raspberry on the palate with a
touch of dried herb, hints of spice and a lively crunchy finish. Served cool this is a lovely
example and way better than many Bourgogne Pinot Noirs that cost significantly more.

Palacio del Camino Real Rioja Crianza – Spain 2017
It’s fairly traditional in style, although there is plenty of fruit. Meaty savoury nose,
bright red fruits on the palate with some cedar and vanilla oak.

Modern styled, it’s packed with bright cherry and plum fruit, with integrated oak making
it rich and smooth. The tannins are ripe on the long finish.

Berry fruits and spice with classic Grenache white pepper on the nose.
Really quite juicy on the palate, it’s full flavoured for sure with all the classic
Chateauneuf characteristics, berry fruits, spice, white pepper, herbs etc.,
and it’s really well balanced.
